Scrumptious

I tried a new sourdough oatmeal bread recipe today. Yum, I could eat a whole loaf slathered with butter all by myself!! :D Linda J has stew cooking today....I think she and I should work out a share plan...Hey Linda, I'll give you bread if you share your stew! :D Worked on my hooked pumpkin rug today. Finished up a bunch of paperwork that has to go in the mail. That's about it for today.

Home-baked bread is the best. I have been baking and getting a better loaf each time I try. So YUMMY! *s*

Your loafs of bread are making me hungry. I am not very good in the kitchen. My husband does all the cooking and baking. I am very lucky because he loves it. How did the recipe turn out?

That's the second blog I've looked at today that features homemade bread. Yum yum. More butter please!

Oh, yum!

Do you do the oatmeal in the dough plain or toasted oatmeal to sprinkle on top or both?

And I think from the mountains in that sunset picture, you must live on the other end of Tennessee from me... :)

I'm glad to hear your feeling better. I bet it would be hard to feel badly looking at such a beautiful sunset! Such a lovely view.

Cute picture of the hummingbird. Is that an Anna's hummingbird? We have Rufus's that come to us in the summer.

Hi Angie!

Thanks for stopping in and saying hello to my "clubfoot" quilt block. Sounds like you've had a busy day around your place - and the bread looks fabulous. And of course, lots of butter!

Your bread looks wonderful! I used to make bread quite often when our kids were younger. It gives you a good feeling to know you can do it. I have thought about a bread machine for the two of us now, but we would eat it all in one sitting! Now where is that wool stash?
