MIA

I've obviously been missing in action. :-D I had the nuclear stress test and echocardiogram last Thursday, and on Friday my GP's office called to let me know that my blood work, stress test and cardiogram were all normal. What a huge relief that is! Now, if we can just get the biopsy done on the thyroid mass, and decide what to do about it, I should be about finished with this mess. :) Have any of you bloggers noticed how many of us have February birthdays???? Wow, bunches of us are Feb. babies! Like-minded folks, huh? LOL My 5-1 is fast approaching...on the 26th of this month. Where did the years go? The past 15 years, in particular, have really flown by. We finally have thawed out a bit. For some reason, this has seemed like a really long, cold Winter to me. I'm definitely ready for Spring with all of her fresh, warm beauty calling us to come out and play in the sunshine. I'm ready for some dirt therapy. :-D It's supposed to be low 60s today, just a hint of things to come. :-) We have had a couple of ferocious thunderstorms today, the first one getting me out of bed at 4:30 this morning. :c Right now, tho, the sun is shining and I'm going to take the "boys" outside for a while. I hope to eventually get back to some quilty posts, but for now you'll have to settle for 'LIP' (Life in Progress) (borrowed from another blog friend--thanks!!) . Don't you just love that??? LIP---just perfect. :D

Dirt Therapy - After the rain on Monday and more predicted for the weekend, I'm looking forward to getting out there and prepping for new plantings. It will be so fun. And now I know it's therapy, too *s*+

Here's hoping the good news continues on the medical front.

Ok, Angie - part way done with the Dr. stuff. Weight gain? Drat, right? As if we have MORE problems keeping those pounds off (well for me anyway). I am wishing and praying that your thyrdoid issue will be resolved easily.

Yes, I have noticed the February birthdays. I turned 50 on the 12th and the time is just flying by. I first noticed it after I had my son. He is 16 now. Before that I wasn't really conscious of time passing - but now? - it's a jet plane!

PS. I forgot to say Happy Birthday for the 26th to you. We are twins for 2 weeks (grin).

Hey there Angie
You share your birthday with my brother, so obviously some of the best people are born on the 26th Feb. I'm glad you got thru all the doctors stuff, hopefully you'll feel like stitching some time soon!
*hugs*

Good the hear all the tests so far are normal.

I am with you on the "ready for spring" sentiment. Enough winter -let's have some sunshine!

Hi Angie, what good news that all the test are negative so far. I'm keeping you in my prayers anyway..*VBS*
And I think we can all use some dirt therapy right about now. I find myself looking out my window at those window boxes and mentally planting them for THIS year..*S* Sending big hugs, Finn

Angie - So glad to hear that all of your test came back "normal". You just take care of you and the rest will fall into place. I'm also looking forward to some "dirt therapy" - a sure sign of spring.

Imagine my surprise to see a new person commenting when I've been out of sight for so long....Sympathise with the thyroid thing. I had a scare about thyroid cancer several years ago. Hope everything goes well for you. You do lovely quilting stuff based on the few posts I peeked at....
