Ancient UFO Ghost From the Past

Finished the applique day before yesterday, and set the four blocks together this morning.  Now I'm ready to choose the fabrics for the first border.  This is a Kim Diehl pattern that I started ages ago.  I'm back in the 'wanna sew NOW' mode, so I'll run with it as long as the urge lasts.  :)

  5. Angie- You left a comment on our blog about my bucket hats and where you can find the pattern. For some reason I am unable to get my computer to let me email you privately ( I am sure it is me, not the computer!) , but I wanted to let you know that I use Betz White's bucket hat pattern and if I remember correctly, you can download the pattern directly from her website. (betzwhite.com, I think)
    Hope this helps!

  6. Fabulous! I love the look of the applique quilt so much, but I haven't practiced much to get better at it. Can't wait to see what border fabric you chose...

  7. Hi there, thank you for your kindness for coming to my blog when I lost my sweet Bambi!!! It has been so hard. I am still in shock. She was fine and then she wasn't and then she was dead. All on her own terms in her own time!! It has been 2 weeks this morning I stayed up with her all night. We were on the floor with her head in my lap and my hand on her chest and I felt her heart stop!! SHOCK!!!!! It was over!!
    Thanks again for coming, Fern
