It's April...no joke :)

I saw my first lightning bug of the season on Friday (March 30).  I feel like that is just way too early for them to be out.  Spring is in full swing here at Ships Landing.  The magic and mystery of nature unfurling in every direction that my gaze lands has me so caught up in the wonder and beauty of it all that I can hardly tear myself away to do anything but revel in it.

Love all of your photos, especially that little birdie bowl!Sorry I am SO far behind on my comments replies. Treasure your friendship but have had one thing after another going on with lots of company and started and never finished my emails! Come on over and see my latest quilt and join in my fun.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures, as usual! Love seeing your lilacs. We have quite a ways to go before I can snap them here. Our temps today do rival yours however, low 60's, but with a cold wind. Hope you are well. Big hugs, Finnie XXX
