The sky this morning when I got up.
The Autumn 🍂 music 🎶 makers are out now at early morning and at dusk in the evenings. 🦗 🦗 I can hardly wrap my little challenged mind around another change in seasons already. I’m thinking about one gallon pots and cold seasons vegetables 🥗 for the first time in years. I should say I think about a little container gardening ever year but it has been years since I’ve actually felt like physically I may actually be able to pull it off. 😁. It would be fun to try anyway.
I played in the kitchen a while today. I made Cinnamon Swirl Bread, but of course, me being me, forgot to do the 'swirl' part when I put it in the pan. It still tastes delicious. :D

We had a little rain this morning, for which I am immensely grateful! My heart and soul end up feeling parched when we go very long without rain. Some of my friends tease me about my love for storms/rain/the changing seasons. I have been struggling with a little raised, shabby plastic garden bed which has given me a few cherry tomatoes and, oh what is the name of the little flowers? Sometimes words just make a mad dash from my mind. Oh well, it will come to me. Anyway the little MARIGOLDS (see, I told you it would come to me) offered me some really cheerful blooms until some critter decided it needed to eat the blossoms. And of course the deer eventually found my two little cherry tomato plants and dined on them. I even planted (in the ground) some zinnia seeds, a few of which germinated and were budding when the deer found them too. Oh well, maybe next year.

(Women Forward): Bulldozers are now tearing through Mariscal Mountain in Big Bend National Park on the Trump administration's orders.
Local advocates have warned that continued construction will irreversibly damage archaeological sites and sacred land within Big Bend.
Trump's contempt for American land and wildlife is staggering.

"Trump announced his administration is rolling back protections under the 1973 Endangered Species Act, claiming “radical climate activists” had exploited the law to unreasonably block oil, gas, timber, housing and military activities. The change relaxes the legal definition of “harm” to habitats, reversing an interpretation the Supreme Court upheld in 1995 to protect spotted owls; Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said the law had become a “regulatory trap,” while Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said it would benefit fishermen burdened by broad regulations. Environmental groups strongly condemned the move: Earthjustice’s Kristen Boyles said there’s no scientific, legal, or public support for it, and advocates from Oceana and the Center for Biological Diversity warned it could be a “death sentence” for species like monarch butterflies, wolverines, and Florida manatees, since habitat loss is the leading cause of extinction. The rule change was first proposed last year and formally adopted in July before Trump touted it publicly this week." Aaron Parnas
