| Finished the applique day before yesterday, and set the four blocks together this morning. Now I'm ready to choose the fabrics for the first border. This is a Kim Diehl pattern that I started ages ago. I'm back in the 'wanna sew NOW' mode, so I'll run with it as long as the urge lasts. :) |

Hey GF, love that bug that bit you! What an awesome project!! I never would have guessed it was an older one, I think patterns like that are timeless.
What a delight to see you hitting the quilting beat again...love it!!! HUGE HUGS, Finnie XXX
*woo hoo*
It's wonderful Angie! YIPPEE!
OH, I love that!! I have the book it came from...and I will watch you zoom on with it!!
Oh, pretty! Isn't it fantastic when you're in that "mode"!
Hugs,

Angie- You left a comment on our blog about my bucket hats and where you can find the pattern. For some reason I am unable to get my computer to let me email you privately ( I am sure it is me, not the computer!) , but I wanted to let you know that I use Betz White's bucket hat pattern and if I remember correctly, you can download the pattern directly from her website. (betzwhite.com, I think)
Hope this helps!
Kim
Fabulous! I love the look of the applique quilt so much, but I haven't practiced much to get better at it. Can't wait to see what border fabric you chose...
Hi there, thank you for your kindness for coming to my blog when I lost my sweet Bambi!!! It has been so hard. I am still in shock. She was fine and then she wasn't and then she was dead. All on her own terms in her own time!! It has been 2 weeks this morning I stayed up with her all night. We were on the floor with her head in my lap and my hand on her chest and I felt her heart stop!! SHOCK!!!!! It was over!!
Thanks again for coming, Fern
Wow! Those are beautiful! So...how old is ancient?
I love applique - and try to practice often. Yours is beautiful. Judy C in NC
The blocks are wonderful! Is this from a Kim Diehl pattern?
