We just had a bonafide earthquake here in northeast TN. Who knows where the epicenter was but our whole house and everything in it shook like a ragdoll in a dog's mouth. What a totally wierd feeling---my stomach is still quivering. This was my first experience with something like this.
Just heard it was 4.3 magnitude in southeast Kentucky

I felt it too! I thought I was going crazy. Hopefully it's an earth quake and not something even more sinister
My husband never felt a thing, but I sure did. I use to live in CA. It sure as heck felt like one to me. Your's is the first posting I have found so far. I thought I was going crazy until I found this!
What do ya think it registered? a three at least?
My son called me from Ga. and asked me if I felt an earthquake. I told him no I didn't. He asked me to search the web aout it. I find your website.

Wow.....do you normally have earthquakes. A month or so ago, my son's house shook from side to side in Mitholian,Texas. I think they had a 2.7-3.0.

I live in earthquake country and I never get used to them. There's no warning.......no wonder we get the jitters!
Glad you are ok, hope the house is also. My son is 2 hours west of Knoxville so I doubt he felt it, but I'll give him a call tonight. Weird happenings we are having.
Been through a few earthquakes in my time, but never quite that dramatic. Makes you feel very vulnerable, doesn't it?
