First Homemade Face Mask

I used Dee Mallon's tutorial deemallon.com to make my first fabric fabric face.  She did an excellent tutorial, very easy to follow.  I'm really pleased with it.  Now I need to make a couple for my sister and brother-in-law (by request :) ).  I found the no-sew t-shirt face mask tutorial after I made this one.  So I will give that a try to.  It looks like it would be really comfortable.  (Tutorial for t-shirt mask in previous post, by permission)

I've made a few dozen up to this point. The first pattern I used was the one Bonnie Hunter posted on her blog. Now I'm making them more like yours with elastic for the ear loops. I'll make them as long as they're needed (which I'm hoping won't be too much longer!).

Looks like a good mask. I just started making a few yesterday from a similar pattern. Will send them to my daughter for her local hospital, which has requested them from their specific pattern. Hospitals around here aren't taking fabric masks at this point.

I like the colorfulness of these. I have a small box of N95 masks which I ordered back in January. I have a bit of lung scaring that makes any respiratory infection a real labor for me.

I made my first two masks yesterday. I figure I will make a whole bunch and maybe just donate it to my family and neighbors. Then I found out our county is collecting them for the health workers so I might give the masks to them. We'll see how many I manage to make.
