We don’t have a difference in political opinion — We have a difference in morality.
I struggle to find the words for how I feel. Enraged, broken-hearted, disgusted, disillusioned, hopeless. I will be 70 soon. I was born and raised here, and I admit, I never thought this day would come, but here we are. How do we build back a better country, when that time comes, with real freedom and inclusion and prosperity for all of us? History will remember, in spite of someone, possibly, in the future trying to erase it. How do we move forward right now?

I can only imagine how ordinary people in your country are feeling. It's terrifying how quickly things have gone out of control. Trump is destroying democracy and law and order.
