That last slide especially resonates. Acceptance and gratitude are a powerful brew. And yes to your question on my recent post—I had a hip replacement this past January after 14 years of intense bone on bone pain. I was fearful—there’s a story there that I won’t go into in your comments. Thankfully I finally got brave. Now I would counsel anyone to go ahead and do the surgery if it’s indicated. Don’t wait. I feel as if I got my life back. I hope your pain isn’t too unmanageable, but if you do decide to replace your hip down the road, I’m here if you have questions.
Thank you so much for the response about your surgery. After having 2 open heart surgeries (yes, I know, most people don't even have one 🥴) and a level 4 cervical surgery last year, I would love to think I won't have to have anymore surgeries. BUT I have so much trouble with my hip/leg that it really won't surprise me if that is another one for me. If that time comes, I will definitely reach out to you. :). As for my quotes and slides that I 'borrow' from other blogs or websites, I tell you, I am so angry/sick over what has become of our country and just outright angry at the ones who brought this mess down on us. I dare not express what I really feel outright here on the blog.
